How does the free plan work?
Sign up and get 200 emails per month, forever. A card is required to unlock metered sending — this keeps the platform fast and spam-free. Upgrade to a paid plan anytime for more sends and features.
What counts as an "email sent"?
Each individual email delivered to a recipient counts as one send. If you send a campaign to 1,000 subscribers, that's 1,000 emails.
Why do you need my card for the free plan?
It helps us keep the platform fast and spam-free, and enables metered overage billing if you go beyond your plan limit.
What happens when I reach my send limit?
Sending pauses until the next month. You can opt in to overage billing with a spending cap you control — no surprise charges. Or upgrade to a higher plan anytime.
How do templates work without a visual editor?
SenderKit uses AI IDE tools that integrate with Cursor and VS Code. Tell your AI what email you need — it generates production-ready MJML, compiles it to responsive HTML, and saves it directly to your account. Preview in the dashboard, then send.
What if I need more sends mid-month?
You can upgrade your plan anytime — the change takes effect immediately and you only pay the prorated difference. Or enable overage billing from Settings with a spending cap you control.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel from Settings with one click. Your account stays active until the end of the billing period.
Do you charge per subscriber?
Never. Every plan includes unlimited contacts. You only pay for emails sent. Grow your list to 100K and your bill stays the same.
How does overage billing work?
Overage is OFF by default. You can opt in from Settings with a monthly spending cap you set (e.g. $10, $25, $50). When your cap is reached, sending pauses — no surprise bills. Overage rates decrease on higher plans.
Can I use Senderkit for transactional emails?
Yes — every plan includes full API access for transactional email (password resets, order confirmations, etc.). Generate an API key in Settings and use our REST API or official SDKs.
